We are your source for the freshest and finest blends of Bird Seed.  We have a wide selection of suet and seed cakes.  Bird houses and bird feeders of all sizes and styles are available.  Our hardware department allows you to hang your feeders and houses in any yard, patio or deck. 
 
Binoculars are a specialty of our store.  We feature binoculars and scopes from Alpen Optics. 
 
If you need a gift for a special occasion, we also carry a large selection of wind chimes, thermometers and rain gauges, plant rooters, jewelry, books and other interesting products.

At the Wild Bird Center we specialize in what your backyard birds want.  Since the beginning, the Wild Bird Centers have worked with Ornithologists to study what birds eat and how they like it presented.  Our seed is always the freshest available.  Our average bag of seed has been in our store less than two weeks.  The seed contains no fillers, only the type of seed your birds are looking for.  Just like when you go to the grocery store expecting the freshest product that suits your pallet, our seed will attract more birds.  Ask us which seed or blend and what feeder is best for your yard.

Can't make it into our store? Is your time tight or we're just a little bit to far?  We will deliver any of our product to your home in McHenry, Lake, Northern Kane and Northern Cook Counties.  There is no minimum order.  Call us for details.
